QRNG
A device for generating truly random numbers using quantum phenomena.
QRNG Overview
The 16-bit Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) is a device that enables the generation of truly random numbers using quantum phenomena.
The generator achieves a performance of approximately 9,000 16-bit random numbers per second, which corresponds to about 144,000 random bits per second.
Integration and Communication
The device is designed for easy integration with computers, research stations, and educational setups.
Communication is carried out via Ethernet, and the QRNG can operate both in a local network and when directly connected to a computer.
Data Access and Software Compatibility
Access to the generated numbers is provided through UDP communication, allowing the data to be received and used by external applications.
The generator can work with software developed in Python, making it easier to use during laboratory classes, experiments, and the creation of custom applications that utilize truly random data.
Educational and Research Applications
The QRNG provides a practical way to familiarize yourself with the operation of random number generators and their integration with computer systems.
It serves as an interesting tool for building educational and research setups related to quantum technologies.
