AIQLAB at World Quantum Day – Quantum Technologies in Practice
We had the pleasure of participating in the Quantum AI Foundation Gala / Meetup, organized to celebrate World Quantum Day. The event brought together representatives from academia, industry, and the public sector, creating a platform for discussion on the future of quantum technologies in Poland.
Education, Laboratories, and Quantum Systems Development
Key highlights of the program included presentations by Piotr Biskupski and Marcin Sadowski, who outlined IBM’s technology roadmap and discussed a practical approach to quantum development—focusing particularly on education through access to teaching laboratories.
This approach aligns directly with the strategy pursued by AIQLAB:
- Building laboratory environments dedicated to quantum technologies,
- Developing tools for testing quantum algorithms and systems,
- Integrating artificial intelligence (AI) with quantum experiments,
- Training workforce and preparing infrastructure for future quantum computers.
The Role of Physical Qubit Emulation
Physical emulation of qubits allows key quantum phenomena—such as superposition, decoherence, and noise effects—to be modeled in real time. This significantly expands research capabilities and enables system testing prior to deployment on target quantum infrastructure.
