AIQLAB – How Does a Quantum Computer Work?” at the Copernicus Science Centre!

On November 22, 2025, we gathered at Warsaw’s Copernicus Science Centre to once again bring the fascinating world of quantum physics closer to the public. Following the massive interest in our previous event, we returned with a fresh dose of knowledge, interactive experimental stations, and brand-new exercises prepared specially for this occasion.

What Happened During the Workshops?

Together with Kwantuś and experts from the Faculty of Physics at Warsaw University of Technology and AIQLAB.pl (a SONOVERO R&D initiative), we looked deep inside an operating quantum system. Event participants had the opportunity to:

  • Understand the differences between the classical and quantum worlds and see why traditional data processing approaches are no longer enough.
  • See how a qubit behaves and how scientists and engineers gain control over it.
  • Follow a real quantum experiment step-by-step—from the initial hypothesis to concrete results.
  • Test their newly acquired knowledge in practice using proprietary simulations, educational games, and interactive demonstrations.

Quantum Physics Is for Everyone

The main goal of our initiative is to prove that innovative technologies do not have to be complex and inaccessible. Thanks to refreshed workshop scenarios, participants of all ages could see firsthand the mechanisms driving modern quantum computers.

We would like to thank everyone for their active participation, thoughtful questions, and relentless curiosity. Once again, you have proven that the quantum world can be understood—all it takes is a little passion!

See you at future events!
